PERSONAL PROFILE For more

My academic experience has given me a thorough grounding in the field of electrical engineering and I have developed a great interest in the area of automatic generation control, and distribution system reliability evaluation. Currently my main focus has been the design of smart AGC controller to mitigate the effect caused by emerging uncertainties of sustainable energy using reinforcement learning. I am familiar with robust control theories, DFIG and power theory after reading lots of publications.

EDUCATION

• 2012 – (2015): PHD in Electrical Engineering, Department of Electric Power, South China University of Technology. Research thesis: Multi-agent reinforcement learning based control design for automatic generation control of interconnected power grids. A statistical experimental comparison on Real-Time Digital Simulator platform is ready to be carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.

• 2009 – 2012: MSc in Control Theory and Control Engineering, Department of Mechatronics and Control Engineering, Shenzhen University. Research thesis: Power theory and distribution system reliability evaluation. A software system designed for reliability evaluation has been developed using VS2008. Moreover, an investigation on CPC theory and instantaneous reactive theory has been carried out in my Master’s thesis.

• 2005 – 2009: BEng in Control Science, Department of Mechatronics and Control Engineering, Shenzhen University. Average GPA of 3.2 out of 4 has been achieved and it ranked among the top 5% students. I also studied Japanese for two years followed by my interests. In the year of 2009, I attended the GRE test and got an overall score of 1260+3.0. In addition, I participated Shenzhen University Advanced Mathematics Contest and Undergraduate Students Freescale Cup Intelligent Car Competition and took some rewards.
