Why Are My Apps Taking So Long To Download BEST

I'm troubleshooting my team's web apps. We're experiencing an issue where some layers are taking a long time to load, but when I open them in a fresh web map, they draw immediately. I've monitored the server CPU and RAM and all seem stable. Any ideas what's up there? Using WAB and Map Viewer Classic.

I did have to go digging around iTunes to move apps back to the page that shows installed apps, but in general I just opened the App Store and downloaded app from there without any problems, it was quick and easy and the new feature in iOS 11 of filling in passwords that it pulls from the safari password manager worked out great, saving a lot of back and forth between 1Password like the old days lol.

This might not have anything to do with the actual installation but are you signed into Creative Cloud on the two other devices you mention? If you are already signed in to Creative Cloud on two other computers, you should be prompted to sign out from any one of them. Your individual Creative Cloud license lets you install apps on more than one computer and activate (sign in) on two. However, you can use your apps on only one computer at a time.

Hi, I own an s20+ and in my life, I have never seen a slower phone updating and installing apps. I remember owning a Huawei p10 plus like 4 years ago and it was the shit! It installed apps in like 5 seconds.

I set the apps to be required and created a dynamic security device group that targets both iPhone and iPads. I can see my one device has been picked up in this group and this group is tied as the required group on the app. I have done the same for about 6-7 apps.

About 3 of the apps download as soon as I run a sync but the others just sit there. I can see the apps are pending install on the device according to intune but I have tried a reboot/ re-sync but still nothing seems to happen.

I have Creative Cloud and several apps, such as PS2020 CC, LRC, Indesign to which I have subscribed. When I come back to my machine after several hours and try to launch Creative Cloud, I get the spinning wheel and the error msg that the apps are taking a long time to load. If I try to relaunch Creative Cloud, no result, so this means I am having to restart my computer at least once a day. I am on a Mac Pro with the latest version of Catalina, ie I keep everything auto updated. I can cope with this but it is a pain. Does anyone know a fix????

I Tried to restart my phone , delete and reinstall , is still the same very slow . i am trying to update snapchat but it took so long , so i delete it and reinstall it again but is still very slow, i havent have this kind of problem before. Please Help.

This was an issue a few weeks ago for multiple people. Meaning, the long hangs opening the studio. Basically, it seemed like complicated apps had issues with recursive data calls causing it to hang up before finally initializing.

My Sharp Roku TV (Roku TV 7201X- Model LC-43LBU591U) was working fine until Friday. When opening certain apps like Amazon it would not load. As the weekend went on things got worse and other apps were affected. I did System Updates, unplugged the TV, and tonite (Sunday) nothing would load at all so I did a Factory Reset. The Software version is 10.5.0- build 4198-38. Certain apps like YouTube and Netflix are working but taking forever to load, while HBOMax loads but won't let me watch anything, and VUDU and Amazon Prime give me "cannot load" messages. I've been reading there are recent update issues/bugs...is this my problem and I just need to wait it out? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!!

I've done all that. Signal strength is good, and have even left the router off for an hour thinking the problem was there...but no problems with my computers and phones. And as I said, tonite I even did a factory reset and reloaded all the apps I use and only Netflix, YouTube, and Spotify work, tho' they take awhile to load. Even went and deleted a few, updated, unplugged, and reloaded to no avail.

Also, since things have changed (like the way the sleep timer now sets) I've noticed a change in the TV's sound...things are louder in some cases, where I used to listen to Spotify on volume 8 and now I need to turn it down to 4.

hi, we are having a similar issue. we have 2 TCL roku tv's, a smaller one and a 65" series 5 4k model. the larger one is the one we are having problems with. everything was working fine until Tuesday evening. when we turned the tv on it would not connect to the wifi. everything else connected to the wifi properly but we did unplug the router for a minute. that didn't work, so we unplugged the tv. that worked to get us connected but now when we go to watch a program on any app it takes a long time to load and sometimes it stalls at 33% or tells us the subscription has ended or something having to do with a "balloon failed". but if we exit and go back in it seems to load and eventually play the episode, but still takes a long time to load. once the episode plays it seems to play without issue.

I first noticed a few weeks ago that during the update, "optimizing Apps" takes a very long time, much longer than it used to. It says I have approximately 300 apps and it takes perhaps 20 minutes to optimize for them.

spiral GrapheneOS uses ahead-of-time compilation instead of just-in-time compilation the Finalizing step of the update process is supposed to compile apps you've installed and non-pre-compiled OS components (which are rare and have to do with upstream regressions in AOT precompilation support) but it regressed upstream and doesn't fully do it so we re-enabled the UI for showing users apps are being recompiled on first boot of a new OS version / after factory reset.

This might be a silly question, but why do apps have to be recompiled with every system update? This isn't something I've seen other (stock) OSes do, unless they do or completely silently, in which case itwould be nice if Graphene did that too...

matchboxbananasynergy I like fast and secure apps. I wish Graphene could use the A/B update partition to optimize the apps. It might require an extra reboot during the update process, but on the bright side it would be completely silent and wouldn't make the phone busy for a long time.

I am new to React. Whenever I use npx create-react-app, it takes too long to download all the packages like "react, react-dom and react-scripts". Is it what happens every time or is there something that I can do to so that it doesn't take too long every time.

Fresh install of EOS KDE. Problem: in Wayland session some applications take looooong time - 25 seconds - to launch. So far having this with Firefox, pamac-manager and gnome-subtitles - all three GTK apps. No problem with QT apps or under X11. Any idea?

It's not the strength of your connection, it's the available RAM and memory on the tablet. And unfortunately, there isn't a way to make it faster, other than to ensure that there are no other apps open when you are using the chosen app. Even then, the amount of RAM available on the Ellipsis (10, 8 or 7) is not much, and apps will be slow to open and use, even if they are the only thing open.

Once every few days when my kids go into their account (FreeTime), none of the apps work right away. You'll tap/click to start running a game and the icon turns this like teal color, it waits a minute or two then it appears to either download or install something because a yellow progress bar shows up under the icon. It does this for every single app. The download/install process seems to queue, too.

It sounds like it might have been a corrupt download. Please try long pressing on the icon and "Remove from Device" then do another hard restart. But this time, please hold the power button down for 40 seconds (regardless of when the screen goes black.) Then try to redownload the application.

I had the same issue with my daughter's fire and I think it is related to storage. It's almost as if the app doesn't have enough room to download so it fails, but it never provides a message that there is a storage problem. One of the previous suggestions was to select "Remove from Device" and do a hard restart, but that is not an option (only "Remove from Carousel") which leads me to believe that it does not fully download. A hard restart also did nothing to help. I removed the app from the carousel, then removed a bunch of apps, and restarted. The problem was resolved. Now whenever her Fire starts acting glitchy I reduce her apps and make sure she has plenty of storage.

I generally do zwave firmware updates from a secondary controller (USB zstick on laptop running PC Controller or Z-Flash). Laptop is placed close to the device (so no hops across other devices). Works fine for both no security or S2 devices, although S2 makes flashing take 4x as long.

I have this problem every time when a sheet in an app is taking forever to load, and I close the tab, and reopen the app, and it would take forever. But how can I just delete the session and start new again??? Or how to make the engine stop calculating the previous tasks...

Please use Document Analyzer to troubleshoot this. You can easily see which Objects are taking time to open, Which Fields are unused and which Fields are consuming more memory. Accordingly you can work on those Objects and Field, and your performance will be better. 17dc91bb1f
