1. Information We Collect

WhosePic is a social photo-guessing game played in private rooms. To enable the core gameplay, we require limited access to your device's photos.

• User-Selected Photos: We do not scan, scrape, or access your entire photo gallery. We only collect the specific images that you explicitly select and authorize through your device's system photo picker.

• Game Data: We collect basic room session data (such as room codes and game state) to connect you with other players.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the photos you select strictly for the purpose of the game.

• The selected photos are temporarily uploaded to our secure servers (hosted on Google Firebase) so they can be displayed to other players in your specific, private game room.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your photos with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Data Retention and Deletion (Ephemeral Storage)

Your privacy is our top priority. WhosePic is designed to leave no trace of your personal photos on our servers once the game is done.

• Immediate Deletion: All photos uploaded during a game round are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers immediately after the round ends or when the game session is closed.

• We do not maintain databases, backups, or archives of user photos.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC) and Safety

WhosePic involves sharing User-Generated Content (UGC) with other players.

• User Review (Shuffle Feature): Before any photo is uploaded and shared with the room, the app displays it privately to you. You have the option to "shuffle" or skip the photo. By choosing to share a photo, you explicitly consent to uploading and displaying it to the other players in the room.

• User Responsibility & Reporting: Users are strictly prohibited from uploading sexually explicit, violent, or offensive content. WhosePic provides in-app reporting and blocking features. We reserve the right to ban users who violate our Terms of Service.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party infrastructure to operate the app:

• Google Firebase: For backend database and temporary image hosting. These services operate under their own strict privacy policies and data protection standards.

6. Children's Privacy

WhosePic is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. By using the app, you confirm that you meet the age requirements.
