Privacy Policy

Who Can Work Now — Tanda Companion is a read-only browser extension that creates a conservative staffing shortlist from Tanda workforce information that an authorised user explicitly chooses to capture.
INFORMATION HANDLED
When the user presses Capture, the extension reads limited information visible on the current Tanda page. Depending on the page, this may include employee names, roles or teams, work-right qualification labels and visible status, rostered and worked-hour totals, scheduled shifts, leave, and unavailability.
The extension does not read or collect passwords, authentication cookies, pay rates, payment information, health details, personal communications, or browsing history.
HOW INFORMATION IS USED
The information is used only to evaluate the shift entered by the user and display a local staffing shortlist with blocking reasons and warnings.
STORAGE AND TRANSMISSION
Captured information and generated reports are processed locally inside Chrome and stored only in Chrome’s temporary extension session storage. They are removed when the extension is disabled or reloaded, when the browser session ends, or when the user selects Clear.
The extension does not transmit captured information to the developer, an external server, an analytics provider, an advertising service, or any other third party.
SHARING AND SALE
The developer does not receive, sell, share, or allow human access to captured information. The extension contains no advertising or analytics.
BROWSER PERMISSIONS
The extension requests access only to the Staff, Timesheets, and Rosters paths on https://my.tanda.co so it can read the four visible Tanda views selected by the user. The storage permission is used for temporary session data and user-entered settings.
USER CONTROL
Capture occurs only when the user presses Capture the visible Tanda page. The user can delete captured information at any time using Clear in the extension or Clear captured data on the results page. Removing the extension also removes its data.
LIMITED USE
The extension’s use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Information is used only to provide the extension’s stated staffing-shortlist function and is not transferred for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated purposes.
SECURITY AND LIMITATIONS
The extension is read-only and does not create, edit, approve, publish, save, or delete Tanda records. Users must use the extension only when authorised and must follow their organisation’s privacy and access policies.
CHANGES
If this policy or the extension’s data handling changes, this policy and the Chrome Web Store privacy declarations will be updated before the changed version is distributed.
