Bishopthorpe White Rose Junior Football Club

A Football Association Charter Standard Club

2017 North Riding County Football Association Regional Club of the Year

2017 Yorkshire and North East Region FA Charter Standard Club of the Year

Covid-19 Outbreak - Latest Club News : At the present time, all football activity at the club is suspended in line with advice from the government and Football Association. We hope to be back playing as soon as possible but in the meantime we sincerely hope that everyone remains healthy and well.

New Site Development - Update May 2020 : The foundations are laid for our new clubhouse, the building is taking shape, and much of the groundwork for our new pitches is complete. However, unfortunately work on site has paused due to the Covid-19 outbreak. It now seems likely that due to the delay we'll be playing regular matches on the site from the start of the 2021/22 season, but we'll keep you updated as the situation develops.

The Club

Bishopthorpe White Rose Football Club, an FA Charter Standard Club, welcomes you to our official site. It provides information on our teams, our social and fundraising activity, news about fundraising events and updates about the Club. This Club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club and eligible for Gift Aid.

Proceeds from the Club's fundraising efforts will be used to fund a new community facility and pitches, football kit and club resources. We accept contributions from business organisations and individual donations.

The Club always welcomes new players. We have active groups for boys and girls from age five to 19 and support two local disability teams. We are also in the process of combining with Bishopthorpe United which runs two mens' teams in the York Football League. This will make us one of the largest Community Football Clubs in York, offering our players a pathway from under 5s all the way to senior football.

If you would like to join one of our groups, please contact or the coach of the age group you are interested in; details are on the Team pages.

Registration to the Club for Season 2019-20 is now open and we invite all current players to register and pay subscriptions online. Further information on the subscriptions for 2019-20 and the online payment process can be found here. If you are ready to register and pay subscriptions online, please proceed here to our subscription payments online system.

Our Under 18 Girls team have raised over £200 by completing a lockdown keepy-uppy challenge, and following that success we're widening the competition to all of our teams. Our players are currently trying to complete as many keepy uppys as possible and will be recording their individual 'record number' by 9th May, in return for a donation.

As well as raising funds for a great local cause, there are also small prizes for the champion in each team and for the whole club, as well as a sweepstake on the total number completed across all our teams. We'll update you on the outcome soon!
