Please let us know if you don't see what you are looking for in the list below--we may be able to help locate specific equipment.
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets has also launched an interactive search tool for equipment that is available to rent around the State.
There are currently two No-Till Drills available to rent in the White River District. Both drills are managed by the Connecticut River Watershed Farmers Alliance. Contact Steve Stocking at (802) 333-4840 to schedule drill rental.
Visit our No-Till Drill Rental page for more information.
Are you interested in calibrating your manure spreader or accurately weighing the amount of hay you cut? Contact Lisa.firstname.lastname@example.org and ask about using our portable truck scales.
The scales can measure up to 20,000 lbs. All they need is a level flat surface. We also provide a moisture probe for accurate hay yield measurements.
Our District has several soil augers available which we primarily use to test fields for Nutrient Management Plans. You can borrow a soil probe to do your own sampling or we can assist you with sampling your fields.
We typically send soil samples to the UVM's Agricultural and Environmental Testing Laboratory.
