About Ms. Thalmann

Ms. Thalmann taught middle school English for 15 years in Pasadena before coming to Stephen White Middle School. During her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping, traveling, correcting improper grammar, and (of course) reading.  She has an obsession with Edgar Allan Poe that previous students have labeled as "somewhat disturbing," and you may see her carrying her Edgar Allan Poe lunchbox every morning or playing with the Poe action figure on her desk.  Her favorite young adult books include the Hunger Games trilogy, the Harry Potter series, anything by Cassandra Clare, and Ender's Game.  She lives with her husband, their daughter, and their cat, Remi.
