VOID BASTION PRIVACY POLICY

1. OVERVIEW
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Void Bastion ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you download, install, or play Void Bastion (the "Game"). Privacy is part of the Game's design: Void Bastion is an offline, single-player experience that does not require an account and does not rely on a remote game service.
The current version of the Game does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or use personal information for advertising, analytics, profiling, or cross-app tracking.
2. SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
This Policy applies to information handled by the Game itself and to information you voluntarily provide when you contact us for support. It does not control the independent data practices of Apple or your device, mobile carrier, email provider, or other services that you choose to use outside the Game.
3. INFORMATION THE GAME DOES NOT COLLECT
The Game does not collect or transmit:
- Your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, or other contact details.
- Apple ID, account credentials, passwords, or authentication information.
- Precise or approximate location.
- Contacts, calendars, reminders, photos, videos, camera, microphone, or media library content.
- Health, fitness, financial, payment, or purchase information.
- Browsing history, search history, advertising identifiers, or tracking identifiers.
- User-generated content, messages, or social graph information.
- Device fingerprints or information used to follow you across apps or websites.
- Gameplay analytics, behavioral profiles, advertising attribution, or marketing data.
The Game contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, social login SDK, tracking SDK, or third-party account system.
4. INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE
To provide gameplay and preserve your progress, the Game creates a local save file on your device. This local data may include:
- Campaign progress, unlocked missions, difficulty completion, stars, and mission records.
- Virtual Credits, Void Cores, research unlocks, tower development, Tactic Cards, and relic loadouts.
- Hero selection, hero rank, mastery progress, achievements, and gameplay statistics.
- Local daily and weekly contract state and claimed reward records.
- Endless mode records, tutorial completion, and gameplay preferences.
- Music, sound effect, haptic, and reduced-motion settings.
This information is used only to operate the Game on your device. The Game does not send this save data to us or to a game server. Depending on your personal device and Apple backup settings, the operating system may include application data in a device backup. Any such backup is controlled by you and Apple under your device settings and Apple's applicable terms.
5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
The current version of the Game does not request access to location, contacts, calendars, photos, camera, microphone, Bluetooth, local network discovery, health data, motion data, or tracking authorization.
The Game may use standard device capabilities such as audio playback and optional haptic feedback without accessing personal content. You can disable music, sound effects, and haptics in the Game's settings.
6. INTERNET CONNECTIONS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Game does not require an internet connection for gameplay and does not make runtime requests to our servers. Game content and required media are packaged with the application.
The Game does not include advertisements, in-app purchases, external account login, cloud save, online leaderboards, multiplayer services, or social sharing services.
If you download or update the Game through the Apple App Store, Apple may process information independently for distribution, security, billing, storefront operation, diagnostics, or platform services. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your Apple ID credentials or payment details from the Game.
7. VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND GAME ITEMS
Credits, Void Cores, Tactic Cards, relics, research upgrades, and other items in the Game are fictional gameplay resources. They are earned and used only inside the Game, have no cash value, cannot be purchased with real money in the current version, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the Game.
8. SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS
The Game does not automatically send support information. If you choose to contact us by email or telephone, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, telephone number, device model, operating system version, screenshots, save-related details, and the contents of your message.
We use support communications only to respond to your request, investigate a reported issue, protect the Game from abuse, or satisfy a legal obligation. We do not use support communications for advertising or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell them. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information in a support request.
Support records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain an appropriate service history, prevent abuse, or meet applicable legal requirements. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us using the details at the top of this Policy, subject to any retention required by law.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Void Bastion does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Game does not provide chat, account creation, targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, or public user-generated content. Because no personal information is collected through the Game, we do not knowingly maintain a profile for a child.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has voluntarily sent personal information to us through a support channel, they may contact us. We will review the request and delete the information when legally permitted and reasonably verifiable.
10. DATA SHARING, SALE, AND TRACKING
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for targeted or behavioral advertising. We do not track users across applications, websites, or offline properties, and we do not participate in data brokerage.
Because gameplay data remains locally on your device, there is no routine transfer of gameplay data to service providers or business partners.
11. DATA SECURITY
The Game minimizes privacy risk by keeping gameplay information on your device and avoiding remote accounts and analytics systems. Local data is protected by the security features of iOS and your device. However, no storage method or device is completely immune from loss, unauthorized access, hardware failure, or compromise. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate device security, including a passcode and current operating system updates.
12. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Local game progress remains on your device until you reset the campaign using the in-game reset control, remove the Game, erase the device, or otherwise delete the application's stored data. Resetting or deleting local progress is permanent unless a copy remains in a device backup managed through your Apple settings.
Because the Game does not send local gameplay data to us, we cannot view, recover, export, correct, or delete that data remotely. You control it directly through the Game and your device.
For information voluntarily provided through a support communication, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information by using the contact details at the top of this Policy. We may need enough information to verify and complete the request, and certain legal exceptions may apply.
13. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. The Game itself does not collect personal information, so most such requests will concern only information that you voluntarily provided through a support channel.
We will review valid requests in accordance with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
14. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Void Bastion does not operate a remote gameplay database and does not transfer local save data across borders. If you contact us, your communication may be processed in the location where we receive and respond to it. We will handle that communication in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
15. LEGAL DISCLOSURES
We may preserve or disclose information that you voluntarily provide through support only when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; necessary to protect rights, safety, or security; or necessary to investigate fraud or abuse. This provision does not create any routine collection of information from the Game.
16. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game's features, legal requirements, or privacy practices change. The revised Policy will show a new "Last Updated" date. If a future version introduces online features or new data practices, we will revise this Policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before those practices take effect where required.
