Hi, I am now getting a white screen on Joplin load:( I tried to follow the debug help but nothing is responsive. How to get more info as to why its not working pls? Literally nothing works! I checked the Jo0plin folder and see no logs

Im getting this problem with Joplin portable (installed last week), running on an external drive. Last week it worked fine. Now the log text shows loads of errors with the SQLite, and just a white screen nothing else loads.

UPDATE

I think I know what may have caused my issue: old temp files. Yesterday I disconnected the ext drive, and later plugged it back in. I think this broke the temp file structure for Joplin and therefore caused problems with the SQLite. Today I deleted everything in Joplin, inc cache and tmp folders and all my imported data. It still wouldnt start. But once Id deleted loads of windows temp files (in owner/app data/local), it started no problem.

Despite its absurdity, I use it to clean my display. It clarifies what appears on the screen. Although this only happens on rare occasions when I'm not seeking expert color grading, I do use it to test how well different displays depict basic colors.

Because I don't have a professional screen, I'm using my computer and placing the white screen for light on it to avoid accidentally touching anything. I'm working on an animation sequence in an old-fashioned manner (by hand), thus I need a white surface with light so that I can lay one piece of paper over another and see both of them.

In cases where your bubble app has to load a few more than normal elements on page load especially in native apps(1 page apps) and some heavy websites, there can be a dead white screen like the image below that could last a few seconds, but still undesired and even in some cases, more than 15 secs. How can you work around this?

My file has been lagging and I will end up getting stuck on a blank screen. I tried closing and opening my file, restarting my computer, and deleted a huge chunk of components (thanks to my other Mac laptop that I am able to work on my file) but this problem still persists. I am mainly using my Windows computer to do my work and apparently it is having problems while my Mac device is working fine (with the occasional laggy experience).

However, I then attempted to set up the proxy with a client id and client secret as I read in this forum that that was the way to get rid of the login dialog box for my organizational users. I have the proxy set up and I have tested it and it is working. I have registered the app on arcgisonline using my own site's url and I checked the radio button marked "Public" when registing the app. But now, when I lauch the app on my own server, I get the initial blue loading screen and then the screen just goes white -- no more login dialog, just nothing.

Having the same problem on an iMac running Catalina 10.15.7. Get stuck on a white screen. Everything is working fine until 2108. Further updates until 22.04.0 have the same problem. Downgrade with a clean uninstall and going back to 2108 make it work again (with 2108).

Running Windows 10 with 16.6 and latest hotfix. Windows 10 did an update the other day and now my Allegro screen whites out if I hover over the visibility tab or if I click on any other application that is open. This is happening on multiple computers at multiple locations. Any one else experiencing this? Anyone know of a fix?

Edit: I tested the latest 2 updates on Bluestacks v5 and they both failed with a white screen, just like v4. Looks like I need to spend some time trying different settings to see if I can find a fix. Since this is happening on both versions and some versions of Android, looks like Eufy made another fundamental change to their code without adequate testing. No surprise.

Based on the feedback, we have conducted multiple rounds of testing internally. Under normal circumstances, devices upgraded to version 4.6.3 should not experience a white screen issue. However, due to the Security Hardening feature we have added in the 4.6.3 version, some Android devices that use Root may encounter problems with running the app properly.

I have loaded DameWare on a Windows 10 machine but it will never open the desktop. It is stuck at "Initializing" with a white screen. I have tried the smart sizing solution but that didn't work. I have also created the MSI to try to run it from the machine instead of a remote install. It has the same settings as the other Win10 machines we have it on. Do you have any ideas?

I have checked every thing and it seem all your settings are correct. In most cases, the blank white screen of death is caused by a fatal error. Since wp-debug mode is not helping, could you please provide us your ftp login details in a secure note so that we can investigate further?

Thanks for the updated login details. I was able to resolve your issue by uploading a fresh copy of the theme files. It seems that there were files corrupted previously which has resulted to the white screen error.

We will need more details to help us find an answer to your problem.

Explain exactly the steps you take after launching Shotcut until you end up with this blank screen.

Also tell what version of Shotcut you use, what is your operating system and what are the properties of the videos you use.

A screen capture of the entire Shotcut windows showing the problem will also help.

If a video clip is all white, then the file either contains no video or its video is incompatible with Shotcut. A rather empty Properties when the clip is selected reflects that. I doubt this anything to do with split. See the thumbnail in the timeline clip is white too. Maybe this file was downloaded from YouTube where it was encoded using the new AV1 codec. Select it, and choose Properties > menu > More Information. You can copy and paste the text here. The next version due tomorrow supports AV1.

It first appeared when I switched Preview 540 and Proxy OFF in order to tweak the Sharpen filter.

Just before this white screen issue started, there was another problem: I had switched OFF Preview 540 and Proxy, and one of my three tracks continued to show the low-quality 540 version. So I reloaded from the MLT file. Then the tracks started going white, first one, then two, then all three.

Sometime selecting a track would cause it to go from white to correct display after a few seconds of delay, sometimes that result could be obtained by changing a filter. But now these have no effect; the problem seems to get progressively worse.

Then I went back to a previous, successful MLT (edit #102), still white screens.

I also deleted the Proxy files to see if that had any effect (none); this is why the screenshots show the Proxies being rebuilt.

I only found the problem because I included an image (url to an image) which had a size specified as a parameter. This worked great.

When I removed the sizeparameter, I also got a white screen on the image.

So I looked what dimensions the image had. It was above the HD dimensions. Therefore, I have also tried this on the websites.

This means fixed sizes on the page and avoided VH and VW in CSS.

I have the same problem with 1080p monitor.

I present a local webpage created by an OEE system. And its just a white screen. Would be nice to solve this problem. Some webpages are working just fine.

Just prior to the screen going white, there was an error message (that of course I did not pay much attention to - and besides, it might have been utterly unrelated). Something with autopower being on or off. I flipped the display forward to check the settings, then back again, and that is when it had gone blank. At first I thought it might have simply been a power issue, since the cam was running on a low battery pack at the time. Also, I was testing the built in video light, so that was on.

Other than the ribbon cable connecting the screen to the cam having some sort of tear, I have few clues to what may be causing this.If the issue is NOT mechanical, might a reset of the firmware help? And if so, what is the correct way to go about this?

There isn't a hard reset button on the camcorder that resets everything back to the defaults. A reset can only be done from in the camcorder's menu. If the screen is completely blank with only the backlight on, something is wrong that needs to be repaired.

As for the photos and video stored in the internal memory, the touchscreen is a necessary component in the process of transferring those to a computer from the internal memory. If it has failed, it will not be possible to retrieve them. If you recorded anything to an SD card instead, you can always remove it from the camera, then transfer the contents to a computer using a card reader.

I know this issue has been around for a long time. I managed to fix it in the past, but after I finished updating my Windows 10 updates last night, this white screen bug is happening again. Now I have tried everything to solve it, but no luck.

Starting the dashboard after this, I authenticate. 4 spinning balls / colors appear, and then I get a permanent white screen. I had this previously with the Bitnami images / configuration but the Docker logs suggest my Parse-server has started successfully. e24fc04721
