There's a lot of debate over flavored vodkas and whether or not so many of them should exist. I won't get into that here. Because you already know I feel about them. I just plain love them. Both to drink and bake with. I'll never tell anyone to stop making alcohol that tastes like Fruit Loops or birthday cake or root beer or any other amazingness they can come up with in the future. Because sometimes it's good to lighten up and have a little fun with your cocktails. The first time I heard of Three Olives brand vodka was when I learned about Bubblegum vodka. The idea totally blew my mind and I ordered a bubblegum cocktail while out to dinner one night. It was insane (in a fabulous way) and while I'm not going to chug flavored vodkas every night of the week, I can tell you I never looked back.
Oh man I am so jealous that you got to sample the three olives smores! How do you come across opportunities like this? Do they reach out to you or vice versa? I also love that you made cupcakes out of it ?
However, we have to draw the line somewhere and that line might be smoked salmon vodka or, gag, pickle-flavored vodka. These weird, flavored vodkas, along with eight others, make our list of the 10 strangest liquor and beer flavors.
Three Olives Tartz flavored vodka was introduced in 2013 and as the name implies it is their vodka tribute to Sweet Tart candies. It is made with vodka distilled in England with winter wheat and water from Lake Vyrnmy in Wales. It is Quadruple distilled and triple filtered through charcoal before it is flavored in Indiana and bottled at 70 proof in a rainbow stripped bottle. I can only guess this product features several flavors of the hockey puck shaped confection. The aroma is a mix of grape, cherry, and bubblegum. The flavor is a combination of artificial grape, cherry, and orange followed by a wave of sour bordering on bitter, a flash of vodka and a salty dry finish. Heroically I sampled a mix of Tartz and Sprite. The result was a mix absent the sour/bitter flavor but what was left was still very dry and salty.
A bubblegum vodka cocktail is a delicious and refreshing drink that is perfect for any occasion. This fun and festive drink is made with vodka, bubblegum syrup, and sparkling water. It is perfect for parties, barbecues, and any other summertime gatherings.
A Bubble Martini cocktail combines the traditional martini with a twist to create an exciting and unique drink. Red wine is made by combining Three Olives bubble vodka, cranberry juice, and ginger ale and serving it chilled in a glass. Martinis come in three flavors: dry, perfect, and wet. The Dry Martini, which is slightly less vermouth than the Perfect Martini, is made with equal parts gin and vermouth. Wet Martinis are made with more vermouth than gin. You can add a few drops of your favorite flavor to your Bubble Martini to make it even more special by making it a personalized drink. What creates bubbles in a drink? Carbon dioxide is required for the bubbly texture to appear. The pressure in the bottle keeps carbon dioxide from dissolving in the drink. When you open a fresh bottle of pop, you can feel the pressure being relieved. You can give your Bubble Martini a light, refreshing flavor by incorporating carbon dioxide into it. To make it more festive, add a few fresh fruit pieces. With its unique flavor and the ability to be served at a party or simply for a special occasion, the Bubble Martini is sure to please.
This recipe makes for a very enjoyable Bubblegum Cocktail. The only thing you need is vodka, soda water, and bubblegum simple syrup. You can make a mocktail that is both easy and safe for children. I know many children who will not eat a Bubblegum soda. The drink is topped off with soda water and a small amount of bubblegum simple syrup. It goes well with a pink color scheme and would make a wonderful party favor. If you add just a little simple syrup, you can still get a little gum flavor with a less sugary drink.
For those of us who are dying to combine our childhood memories with our adult drinking habits, Three Olives Vodka has the answer! This bubblegum flavoured vodka is one crazy drink that will take you right back to the 1980s. Other vodka varieties from these guys include root beer, cake, coconut water and whipped cream.
