The idea of paths came from noticing that the Nine Titans are sent to a random baby among the Subjects of Ymir, regardless of distance or blood relations, if they die without being eaten. This implies that the Subjects of Ymir are all connected by something invisible, and what connects them are called paths.[2]

Paths seem to be strengthened by blood relations: memories are transferred far easier between family members.[5] Karl Fritz's vow renouncing war is only passed down to his own family.[6] The Ackerman clan, who are also connected to each other by a path, gain the battle experiences of all past Ackermans when they awaken.[7]

Although paths are invisible in the physical world, they can be seen by entering the world of the paths ( Michi no Sekai?).[10] There, white soil covers the ground and paths manifest as trails of light in the sky, similar in appearance to an aurora. Time is irrelevant and conflicting there. Zeke Yeager says that it felt like he was there for years, but it was also all over in an instant.[11][12]

Ymir's death created the world of the paths after gaining the power of the Titans.[18] While dying, Zeke Yeager also enters the realm when a nearby Titan shoves his body into its belly.[19] Eren Yeager enters this land when his decapitated head touches Zeke.[20] Zeke speculates that those who inherit the Founding Titan enter the land in order to command Ymir Fritz.[21]

When paths cross, the point is known as a "coordinate" ( Zahy?). The Founding Titan is the Coordinate where the paths of all Subjects of Ymir and Titans cross.[2] It has the ability to alter the memories of Subjects of Ymir,[22] change the body composition of Subjects of Ymir,[23] transform Subjects of Ymir into Titans (even Colossus Titans),[24] and command all other Titans.[25] According to Tom Ksaver, the Subjects of Ymir are like a part of the Founding Titan's body, no matter where they are.[23] In the unknown land, the Coordinate is manifested as a giant pillar of light that branches out like a tree.

While the term "Coordinate" is most commonly used for the Founding Titan's Coordinate, Zeke Yeager also uses it to describe his own abilities with the Beast Titan. If Zeke's spinal fluid enters the body of a Subject of Ymir, that Subject of Ymir becomes connected to Zeke's Beast Titan by a path and is marked with a "coordinate." Zeke's Beast Titan can act like a faux Founding Titan to those connected to him: He can transform them into Titans, and he can give those Titans commands.[4]

During the year 845, after Ymir devoured Marcel Galliard and gained the power of the Titans, she awoke in the unknown land. When she saw the paths in the sky, she called them "freedom" spread out before her. She vowed to live a life without regrets afterward.[18]

As Zeke Yeager is dying from the wounds inflicted by a Thunder Spear explosion, he has a vision of Ymir, in tattered clothes, in a world full of sand. A Titan approaches him and opens its abdomen to put his body inside.[19] Zeke awakens inside the unknown land to Ymir Fritz rebuilding his body using the surrounding earth, and he sees trails of light in the sky above. Zeke later comes out of the Titan, fully recovered, and speculates that what he just saw are paths.[26]

When Eren acquires the full power of the Founding Titan, he sends Eldians from both within and beyond the Walls a telepathic message rejecting the world's desire for the destruction of not just inhabitants of Paradis Island, but also the subjects of Ymir as a whole. Having unleashed the Wall Titans from their confinement, Eren states his intentions for them to thunder across the world beyond the island until all life have been snuffed out.[27]As the Alliance plan their strategy to stop Eren, he brings them to the Paths. There, he tells them that he will not talk to them and he will not stop them from fighting him, but he will keep moving forward. [28]

Armin arrives to the paths after being eaten by a titan, controlled by Ymir Fritz. Zeke is there waiting for him, and they share their views on the meaning of life. Past shifters appear behind them and they snapped them out of their trance, Ymir watches them do it.[29]During the Rumbling, Eren summons each of his friends into Paths individually. He tells each of them that he will become a threat to the entire world so they can kill him and earn the respect of the world. He also reveals that his death will erase the Power of the Titans.[30]

I would like to complain a little bit about the framework in the Path of Valor re TITAN Valor Challenges. As far as we undertood the data a total of 46,750 points is required to catch all rewards and a total of 48,750 points can be achieved on the path. Thus resulting in reseve of 2,000 points. I feel this actually helps the loyalty as people who really want to complete it will work with people who do In a manner to benefit them and there alliance. As the numbers show a regularly active alliance shouldnt have any trouble getting this done, the ones with constant no shows or people disappearing for weeks at time, the fact that people wont pull together to complete a common goal for everyone will get people to move to places where they will be more at home and around more like minded players which is what all of us want upon starting the game.

The Path of the Titans (called Path of Giants in one source)[1] is a massive, ancient, now-ruined road that runs through the center of Dragonblight. It runs from Ulduar in the Storm Peaks, over the Terrace of the Makers, through Stormcrest and over Crystalsong Forest, down through the Dragonblight where it meets Wyrmrest Temple, then continues going south into the Frozen Sea, where carved columns are rising from the waves and sections of the path still standing. Portions of the Path can be found on the western side of the Strand of the Ancients and appear to continue on past it, heading further south.[2]

IIRC and its been a long time, path of the titans was not meant to be a borrowed power system. It was meant to be sort of like the heart of azeroth but something that expected beyond a single exp, kinda like glyphs.

Prior to its cancellation, Paths of the Titans was a system of character progression which was planned to be introduced in Cataclysm that players would have been able to take once they have reached level 85. The feature was announced to be cancelled at the Cataclysm press event on the 8th of June, 2010. The system would have been tightly related to the profession of Archaeology and was integrated with the glyph interface. Players would have been able to join cults dedicated to various Titans and, by following in the path of a titan, would be able to unlock a new type of glyph known as an ancient glyph, which would have been completely unrelated to the Inscription profession.

Players could earn progress down any of these paths by doing things such as questing, raiding, PvP, trade skills, etc., with a possible weekly cap for maximum progress. Over time, characters would be able to unlock new ancient glyphs that will greatly benefit them. Each path consisted of 10 ranks, with ten slots numbered from I to X; at each rank players would be presented with a selection of two to three different ancient glyphs from which to fill the slot.
