The only thing thats annoying me is the *popping* sound when sending a message on Whatsapp. This sound is louder compared to the others but I dont know why. I restarted the phone already and played again with the sound level but nothing helped. Sometimes the *popping* sound is in harmony with the other sounds but more often its louder than the other sounds.
When it happened, it looked like the microphone stopped working. WhatsApp audio messages were empty, videos were silent and the voice recorder also recorded empty audios. I had to reboot to solve the issue.

The issue I'm having is that whilst WhatsApp is active, I'm not receiving any sound or vibration notifications for WhatsApp messages when I have the alert style set to 'none', despite having explicitly turned on both sound and vibration notifications. This only occurs within the app itself; when my phone is inactive, I receive both sound and vibration notifications as expected.
So, I want to keep my WhatsApp notifications silent without unabling them but I have done everything and I still get the annoying sound everytime. I'm about ready to do the same. Between this, the lack of bluetooth support that has been hacked into the apk for ages (so therefore probably pretty easy for them to implement), and the extremely poor options for adding personal music files, I'm about ready to jump ship. Not all notifications are produced by calls/received messages. A navigation software (which also works offline) can also produce notifications, namely directions.
