I primarily use earphones when I am trying to get stuff done, or traveling on an airplane, to block out the noise. Anyone who follows me on Twitter knows I spend a lot of time in coffee shops. I have an office, but for me, getting out, finding a secluded corner, putting on my earphones, turning on my Noizio app (for the appropriate amount of thunder & rain), my Film Score and Mozart playlists, helps me focus, and keeps me from being distracted. I was disappointed. But every time a new version of Bluetooth has been announced in the two decades since then, the advances have always been all about reducing energy use, or increasing range, so that Bluetooth devices can be smaller and further away or use less power. Not once did the Bluetooth SIG vote to increase available bit-rates for audio. The Enhanced Data Rate of Bluetooth 2.0 and 2.1 in 2005-7 did increase data overall but not for audio specifically. So third-party codecs like LDAC and aptX which have pushed beyond the standard SBC or AAC have done so by hijacking other non-audio bits of Bluetooth and using them for extra data. Though never enough to achieve lossless high-res audio.

More is not always better and the days installing massive amounts of material are long gone. Proper use of available materials and complete coverage is the key to an effective, lightweight sound control system that can be installed in a reasonable amount of time. Think about this, do you believe the "More is Better" theory works in aircraft or marine applications? No, it does not. How about aerospace? Uh, no. Would the builders of advanced military troop transport vehicles do some of things our competitors are suggesting? Absolutely not! So if other companies are claiming to be so advanced in the development of their materials and techniques, how is that their approach to automotive noise control is so outdated and misunderstood?

I disagree completely with your view of ebook readers. I predicted 8 years ago that paper books were dead and still believe it. We cannot keep cutting down trees to print books. I use the Sony ebook reader and find it easier on the eyes, easier to transport, and can find plenty of interesting books to read through the Sony online store. I have made a personal commitment to never read a paper book again. The ice caps are melting and our planet is on the verge of climatic changes that scare me. This is one small change each individual can make to help our planet. We went from records to cassette tapes to cds and then dvds for music. Why this animosity to this new technology? The format and pricing will evolve but the technology is hear to stay. It is easier for me to carry my ebook reader to work, the beach or a restaurant then say a 500 page book. They sell a lot of books on this planet. The sellers eventually have to be attracted to being able to sell them without the cost of printing them. The only thing missing is a an aggressive advertising campaign from a company ready to profit from the move to this newer technology.

I dont agree with what you are saying and dont believe that the game is in a horrible state nor that it gets worse with each update. I will agree that its in development, has a wide range of bugs and issues but I consider that totally normal and the game is actually pretty damn good all things considered.
