The festival will also feature Scientists in the Spotlight, an Oolitic Sand Experience, a Kid's Drop Off Zone, a Dino Diner Activity Zone, and Food of Utah Gallery Tours! Museum scientists will also present talks on topics such as Fermented Foods and Fungal Delights, Harvesting the City: The Case for Urban Foraging, Importance of Getting Lunch in Human Evolution, and the Four Corners Potato: The 10,000-year-old Utah Food.
The festival is included with regular Museum admission, and is free for Museum Members and University of Utah faculty, staff, and students. Admission can sell out so we encourage you to reserve tickets in advance.

The 48th Annual Greek Festival has been rescheduled for 2020 in Birmingham, Alabama. For 47 years the Holy Trinity Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Greek Orthodox Cathedral has enjoyed embracing the community has family while sharing the full Greek cultural experience including food, music, and our ancient Christian faith. All entrees and desserts are homemade and they have been for 50 years when the festival began and are comprised of only the freshest and finest ingredients available. Menu offerings include souvlakia pastichio, Greek chicken, spanokopeta, dolmathes, veggie plates, Greek salad, gyros and more! There will also be a choice of homemade Greek pastries including baklava, kourambethes, melomakarana, koulourakia and many more. In addition to the authentic Greek food you will enjoy Greek music, dancing, and a warm spirited atmosphere that embraces everyone as family. Greek dancers of all ages will be performing all three days. As thousands of returning patrons can attest, you will leave a devoted fan.
The open air festival offers free admission. Outside tented seating for dining will be available. Food plates are individually priced and the Greek pastries will be pre-packaged and sold in the food lines. Coca Cola products will available along with Greek beer and wines.
