A Workshop on Geometric/Algebraic Methods in Physics

The one-day workshop will take place on 31 July 2023 Monday at Science and Technology Building in Boğaziçi University Kandilli Campus.

The aim of the workshop is to bring international scientists visiting Boğaziçi University and a local postdoc research group from Istanbul Technical University together under the roof of Feza Gürsey Center for Physics and Mathematics, and create an environment to exchange ideas on recent advances in geometric and algebraic methods used in theoretical physics. You can find the center's website here

There will be 6 talks in two (morning and afternoon) sessions; each will take 50 mins with 10 mins break for questions and discussion.

You can find the details about the talks and schedule can be found in the other page.

Organizers: Nihat Sadık Değer (BU), Keremcan Doğan (ITU), Cem Yetişmişoğlu (ITU)

Feza Gürsey was one of the most prominent and influential mathematical physicists of Turkey. You can learn about the details of his personal life and scientific contributions in this great online exhibition.
