Call for Papers

The Internet of Mirrors (IoM) is an emerging IoT ecosystem that envisions a distributed network of interconnected smart mirror devices capable of sensing, processing, and delivering personalised, context-aware, and immersive services across healthcare, beauty, wellness, assisted living, fitness, and digital lifestyle applications. Unlike existing smart mirror technologies that operate as isolated standalone systems, the IoM introduces a connected and intelligent ecosystem in which mirrors communicate, share knowledge, integrate with edge-cloud infrastructures, and support collective intelligence across heterogeneous environments. By combining advances in AI, wireless communications, multimodal sensing, immersive technologies, and distributed computing, the IoM has the potential to enable applications such as remote healthcare monitoring, AI-driven beauty analytics, digital fitness coaching, music and wellness therapy, assisted living, and metaverse-enabled experiences.

Realising this vision requires coordinated advances across multiple research disciplines. The IoM brings together challenges spanning edge intelligence, wireless networking, multimodal AI, immersive interaction, privacy-preserving computing, and large-scale IoT orchestration. This workshop aims to provide a dedicated forum for researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss emerging architectures, enabling technologies, system-level challenges, and real-world applications related to the IoM ecosystem.
