Westport Library Camp Explore

In this three day participatory workshop you will be challenged to build unusual input devices that connect to your laptop and allow you to interact with Scratch projects in fun and engaging ways. One day one we will learn about the Makey Makey, conductive materials, and explore rapid iteration as we design various game controllers. Day two will be spent turning cardboard into musical instruments that we connect to our computers to make sounds and songs. Finally, on day three we will get super physical and design some game inputs that really get us moving.

The real fun and success of these three days depends on you participating! Ask questions, take risks, try it and see if it works. Use your imagination, be creative, do it over a different way if it does not work the way you want the first time.
