Westminster School is dedicated to providing a superior elementary and middle-school education whose fundamental goals for each child are a disciplined and well-informed mind, strength of character, dedication to learning, generosity of spirit, and joy in the possibilities of life. The Westminster program is founded on a traditional curriculum, rigorous academic standards, and an atmosphere that promotes respect, integrity, kindness, and a sense of excellence. Westminster’s academic program provides thorough training in basic subjects within a broad humanities curriculum. The Classical tradition, great books, and exposure to the arts are emphasized and integrated throughout an accelerated, thoroughly rounded program.

Preschool

The Griffin Academy prides itself on creating an exceptionally loving and safe environment where children ages 3 and 4 thrive. At The Griffin Academy, children are introduced to a school setting through an equal balance of play and structure. Lower School

Westminster’s lower school (grades K – 2) offers your child a remarkable adventure in learning, fun, friendship, and personal development. Within a warm, nurturing environment, students are encouraged and taught how to exercise independence, responsibility, respect, and kindness, as well as the knowledge, skills and attitudes fundamental to their delight in learning—today and always. Firmly grounded in the school’s overall mission and philosophy, the lower-school program provides a carefully planned, consistent approach to all aspects of your child’s intellectual, emotional, and social development.

Westminster School

Middle School

Westminster’s middle school (grades 3 – 5) provides an extraordinary academic and character development program for your child. A well-rounded, rich academic curriculum, with daily guidance toward personal responsibility and independent study skills, is combined with close attention to each child’s personal development. Within a warm, nurturing environment, children are encouraged and taught how to exercise respect, kindness, responsibility, integrity, and resilience, as well as the knowledge, skills and attitudes fundamental to their delight in learning—today and always. Upper School
