Attendance Recovery POLicy
A student in a high school course accumulating more than 7 unexcused absences in a semester course or 14 unexcused absences in a year-long course will NOT receive credit for the course. Students enrolled in a half credit course accumulating more than 3.5 unexcused absences in a quarter will NOT receive credit for the course. The student will be issued a F* on their report card.
Students may recover days absent by participating in the school’s Make Up Seat Time (MUST) Program. MUST is recovered using a district approved online learning program. Grades 8-12 –PLATO or face-to-face instruction settings with a certified teacher. Students may recover time by completing academic assignments before school, during lunch, after-school, weekends, and/or holidays.

interim virtual discipline policy and code of conduct
The Jefferson Parish School Board adopts this Interim Virtual Discipline Policy in order to clarify expectations for student conduct in the virtual classroom and to provide notice of the possible consequences of inappropriate conduct in the virtual classroom. Student conduct is governed, at all times, and regardless of the mode of instruction, by La. R.S. 17:416 and the Student Code of Conduct, as set forth in the Procedures and Policies for Parents and Students.

Virtual Jefferson meals can be picked up at Zone 3 (BETWEEN PORTABLE 1 AND 2) on the Brown Street side of the school from 1:30PM-2:30PM

Virtual to Hybrid or Hybrid to Virtual Change Request Form
If the student is requesting a change from virtual to hybrid or hybrid to virtual you must complete a change request form. If you are not making any changes you do not have to fill out the form. Change request starts October 5,2020 and ends October 19,2020. No changes will be made until October 29,2020 and we must have the form to complete your request. Forms can be completed in the office from 9am-12pm Monday -Friday in the main office or you may CLICK HERE to complete an online form.
