Wolf Run
The Wolf Run takes place during school. We run from Westfield and then behind Timberline and around Burgess Park.
Students will warm up before the race and water/snack will be provided after. Students should wear appropriate shoes. Wear sunscreen if needed. The course is 1.6 miles. Each grade will run separately.
Each grade will follow a "race rabbit" there will be other "race rabbits" in the middle and end of the grade to keep everyone on the right route. Parent volunteers are encouraged to run with the grades.
Please come line the course and cheer on your Westfield runners! Pick a spot and yell your heart out for these cute kids. You are welcome to run with your runner, but strollers will be hard on our grass course with the number of children participating.
This is a fantastic opportunity to talk to your children about setting personal goals and sportsmanship. Goals could include not walking, beating the race rabbit, sprinting to the finish as soon as they get to the school grounds, making sure to complement the kids who come before and after them.
Volunteer!
The Wolf Run and Color Blast is such an amazing event because of the nearly 100+ wonderful volunteers that help get this event across the finish line! If you have older children in middle or high school, we would love thier help too! We need lots of race rabbits. Please signup using the link below and we look forward to seeing you on race day.
Color Blast Waivers
Waivers are required for all students to participate in the color blast. Waivers can be submitted in one of two ways.
When a donation is made online the waiver form is required prior to checkout.
If you choose not to donate you still need to fill out an online waiver for your children to participate in the color blast.
Color Blast
The Color Blast will be such a fun and memorable experience for the kids! They loved this event last year and we are thrilled to bring it back this year. Once the whistle blows, the color will fly everywhere. Don't worry, it is just colored cornstarch. We will have leaf blowers to blow off the excess before the kids go home. If your kids don't want to participate in the color blast, they will have an opportunity to move away from the action but we think if they do participate, they will love it!
Our goal is $30,000! If every student donated $50 we would hit our goal.
