PAWPAW Scion Wood. A limited amount will be available in late winter/early spring. Inquire and place your order no later than Mar.1, Most of the above pawpaw cultivars are available,--very limited am't for some.

I also have Scion Wood for several varieties of Apple, Pear, Asian Pear, Peach, Shipova, Mulberry (several varieties), and Figs (several varieties). Inquire.

Some history of West Farm Nursery.

When we purchased this farm over 40 years ago, it was being used for conventional cropping and a small ornamental horticulture nursery. The corn fields and Christmas trees are gone and the land is devoted to Wildlife Habitat Improvement, a Pawpaw orchard, and a small hybrid chestnut grove. The main focus is on developing the North American Pawpaw orchard, as well as propagating pawpaw trees for sale.

Currently, we have about 100 pawpaw trees planted, consisting of over 30 different cultivars in various stages of growth. Regarding pawpaw tree availability, we have several grafted cultivars of pawpaws, including all seven of Neal Peterson’s Trademarked and Registered cultivars (Shenandoah, Susquehanna, Potomac, Wabash, Allegheny, Rappahannock, Tallahatchie), Kentucky State Universities’ Trademarked cultivars (KSU-Benson, KSU-Atwood, KSU-Chappell), and some of the older, more well known cultivars (Sunflower, PAG, Taytwo, NC-1, IXL, Lynns Favorite, Sweet Alice, and others; sometimes available upon request). All grafted trees are growing in 14” tall tree trainer pots and the trees are 2.5-5’ in height.

In addition to North American Pawpaws, we have several varieties of Figs, Mulberry trees and American Persimmon trees available. Sporadically, Hazelnut, Buckeye, Horse Chestnut, Evodia, Kentucky Coffee , Ginkgo, Hybrid Oaks, Black Walnut, Black Locust, and a few other tree seedlings are available.
