Home Security

Although as a Neighborhood Association we do not endorse products or services we do think it can be helpful to share information with neighbors. In addition to locking doors and setting alarms here are some resources for securing your property.

http://www.reviews.com/home-security-systems/ - Reviews of home security/home monitoring systems. Read their About page for more in-depth information about the resource.

ADT - Our broad and innovative set of products and services — from interactive home and business solutions to home health services — exist to meet a range of customer needs for today’s active and increasingly mobile lifestyles.

Ring.com - Video Doorbell - answer your door using a smartphone (iOS, Android, Windows 10). Ring is a neighborhood partner with National Night Out and Nextdoor.com.

http://www.simplisafe.com/ - Home safety and security system that can be monitored (or unmonitored) contract-free.

http://www.doordevil.com/ - Structural reinforcement system for doorways.

A Good Practice

Take, Lock, Hide - leave nothing (especially the keys and garage door remote) in your vehicle at night, even behind a gate. Lock all doors. Hide items in a trunk or out of site if something must be left in the vehicle.

Lock your home. Lock your shed. Lock your vehicle.
