SDCCE ASB Officer Duties
All officers are committing themselves to their office for the school year Fall 2022/Spring 2023.
Officer Eligibility:
Current SDCCE student
Maintain good academic standing
Attend classes regularly
Follow BP-3100 (Student Rights, Responsibility, Campus Safety and Administrative Due Process)
Available and committed to attend ASB meetings
President:
Provide leadership
Run meetings
Meet with other officers and advisor to plan and prepare meeting agenda
Meet with advisor before each meeting
Help with meeting set up and clean up
Vice President:
Act in place of President with President is not available
Serve as time keeper during meeting
Meet with other officers and advisor to plan agenda
Meet with advisor before each meeting
Help with meeting set up and clean up
Secretary:
Take minutes during the meeting
Write up minutes following the meeting
Read minutes out loud at meeting
Maintain a file of all ASB documents
Assist officers with clerical support
Meet with other officers and advisor to plan agenda
Help with meeting set up and clean up
Treasurer:
Submit financial reports at each meeting
Request financial reports from the Account Technician to submit at ASB meetings
Prepare requests for funds
Meet with other officers and advisor to plan agenda
Help with meeting set up and clean up

- Prepare a short speech for our Zoom Meet the Candidates meeting that describes your interest and qualifications for the position you are running for.
