Personal Note from Mrs. Holt:

I became a school librarian because I firmly believe that students must be encouraged to think for themselves and take ownership of their learning. The WSHS library aims to help meet students' academic, recreational, and personal needs. If any student ever needs help finding excellent books to read, conducting research for personal or academic needs, writing resumes, applying to colleges, brainstorming for assignments, etc., I am generally available to help them during their study hall or lunch.

As a teacher-librarian, I help to teach research and technology. The library is closed during my lunch period and during any periods when I am teaching research to classes. Any student wanting to use the library during their study hall or lunch is welcome; however, it is a good idea for them to check with me in the morning to make sure the library will be open during the period they desire to use it.
