I am now a fourth-year PhD student (who have submitted my PhD thesis this summer for examination) at the Department of Linguistics, The University of Hong Kong.
I am a fan of narratives (including folklores, dramas, science fictions....). My research interests revolve around leveraging computational techniques and language models to analyze intriguing language-related aspects within narratives.
Specifically, my PhD research is centered on two key areas: 1) how individuals respond to film narratives by employing text-mining techniques on the live comments they leave on video-streaming platforms; 2) how to create a richer computational description of narratives with semantic/syntactic information.
