We live in a world that rarely hits the "pause" button. Between work deadlines, school runs, social media, and the general pace of life in Stäfa, our minds are often running several miles ahead of our bodies.
At YOGA PILATES STUDIO ZURICH, we’ve seen how Yoga and Pilates can strengthen the body. But to truly complete the circle of wellness, we must also train the mind. That is why we are thrilled to introduce our Group Guided Meditation sessions, with dedicated classes for both Adults and Children.
You might wonder, "Can't I just use an app at home?" While apps are great, there is a unique power in Collective Stillness.
When a group of people breathes and focuses together, the "energy" in the room changes. Plus, our sessions offer a chance to connect with like-minded neighbors right here in District 4.
Whether you are looking to deepen your own practice or want to give your child a gift that will last a lifetime, our meditation circles are open to all. No experience, special clothes, or "quiet minds" required—just come as you are.

Most of us live with a "Monkey Mind"—that inner voice that jumps from one worry to the next. Our adult guided sessions are designed to be your sanctuary from the noise.
What to expect:
In these 45-minute sessions, you’ll be guided through visualization, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques. You don't need to "know how" to meditate; you just need to show up and listen.
The Benefits:
Stress Reduction: Lowering cortisol levels and calming the "fight or flight" response.
Improved Focus: Training your brain to stay present, which carries over into your work and home life.
Emotional Resilience: Learning to observe your thoughts without being swept away by them.
Better Sleep: Many of our members find that a weekly evening meditation is the key to finally silencing the "to-do list" before bed.
For Children: Building a Mindfulness "Superpower"
In a world of screens and high-pressure school schedules, children are feeling stress earlier than ever. Our children’s sessions (ages 6 to 16) are not about sitting in silence—they are about adventure, imagination, and emotional tools.
What to expect:
We use age-appropriate storytelling, "animal breathing" exercises, and creative visualizations. One week we might be "breathing like a balloon," and the next we might be "visiting a quiet forest" in our minds.
The Benefits:
Emotional Regulation: Helping kids understand big feelings like anger or anxiety and giving them the tools to "cool down."
Enhanced Concentration: Practical exercises that help them focus better during school and homework.
Self-Confidence: Building an inner sense of security and peace that isn't dependent on outside validation.
The "Wiggle" Factor: We teach them that it’s okay to have energy, but also how to find their "quiet center" when they need it most.
