Wellesley Interact is a student-led service organization dedicated to creating meaningful impact through partnerships with nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and service organizations. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Wellesley, our club connects students with opportunities to address humanitarian challenges through service, collaboration, and leadership.
As Wellesley Interact is being rebuilt after several years of inactivity, our goal is to create a lasting organization where students can work together to support communities locally and globally.
What is Interact?
Interact is Rotary International’s official service organization for high school students. With thousands of clubs around the world, Interact gives students the opportunity to develop leadership skills while creating positive change in their communities.
Each Interact Club creates its own projects based on the needs of its community, but all clubs share a commitment to:

Through our partnership with the Rotary Club of Wellesley, students have access to mentorship from community leaders and opportunities to connect with organizations beyond our school.

Wellesley Interact focuses on building meaningful relationships with organizations that are already creating change.
Instead of organizing one-time service events without understanding the needs of the community, we believe in:
Listening first. Acting second.
Our goal is to collaborate with nonprofit organizations, learn what support they need, and create projects that provide meaningful assistance through volunteering, fundraising, outreach, and long-term partnerships.

Each year, Wellesley Interact will work with nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts to support local efforts on current significant issues affecting Wellesley or the surrounding community.
Our process:
Identify organizations addressing important community needs
Learn about their missions and challenges
Collaborate to determine how students can contribute
Create meaningful projects based on their needs

International Humanitarian Initiative
International Humanitarian Initiative
Wellesley Interact will also support an international humanitarian effort through a long-term partnership with an organization addressing global challenges.
Potential areas of focus include:
Refugee and migrant support
Disaster relief
Education access
Healthcare
Community development
Our goal is to create sustained impact by supporting one meaningful partnership rather than spreading our efforts across many unrelated causes.
