Wellesbourne Village Hall

Located in the centre of Wellesbourne opposite the shopping precinct.

 

The hall was originally built as the village school in 1863 and became the Village Hall when the new primary school was built in 1965.  It is owned by Walton Estate and leased to the Parish Council.  The hall is a registered charity and is run by a Management Committee of volunteers who have a sublease with the Parish Council.

 

Facilities:

 

Main Hall with stage  - overall  93 sq. metres

The hall can seat 80 people and dancing can accommodate over 100.

A simple microphone and loudspeaker system is available to use.

There are 100 chairs and about 20 tables.

 

Committee Room The Committee Room can seat about 25 and has a separate single toilet.

 

Kitchen

Recently completely refurbished, the large kitchen has two working areas with a cooker and sink in each, also a microwave, fridge, hot water boiler, heated cabinet and ample crockery, cutlery and utensils.  The kitchen has a hatch for serving the main hall and another for serving the committee room via the entrance passageway.  

 

Modern toilets

Separate ladies and gents toilets and a disabled toilet with a babychange facility.

 

Adjoining the hall is a large free public car park.
