WELCOME CLUB!
Foster friendships and start long-term connections with other Westwood Public School families.
The Welcome Club creates community events that bring Westwood Public Schools families together. Families that are new to WPS, whether from Boston or Westwood, can connect with veteran WPS families and each other in fun and interesting ways, including in-school events, outings, game nights, picnics, and facilitated adult discussions.
WHO CAN JOIN?
All Thurston Middle School families and students, along with Westwood Elementary families (club location is at Pine Hill Elementary School) are invited to join the Welcome Club. This includes Boston families in the METCO program, families that have just moved to Westwood, and families that are already based in Westwood and part of the Westwood Public Schools community (including incoming Kindergarteners and 6th grade families).
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

Volunteer to be a buddy family
Participate in family events and events that are just for parents over the course of the year
Volunteer to help with event planning, communications and membership coordination, fundraising, and/or serving on our overall planning committee
Donate to support the Welcome Club
