ECSIOT Lab 致力於將無線通訊系統以嵌入式系統和FPGA實現, 碩士班同學將會學習通訊IC開發流程,
第一階段: 無線通訊系統平台建立(含接收機演算法設計), FPGA硬體實現(含合成電路), 此階段將具備通訊IC開發流程的前段能力(System design -> RTL coding-> Synthesis)
第二階段: 自動佈局繞線 & DRC, 此階段將具備通訊IC開發流程的後段能力(APR -> DRC)。
ECSIOT Lab is dedicated to implementing wireless communication systems using embedded systems and FPGA platforms.
Graduate students will learn the complete development flow of communication ICs.
Phase 1: Establishment of the wireless communication system platform (including receiver algorithm design) and FPGA hardware implementation (including circuit synthesis). In this phase, students will acquire the front-end skills of the communication IC development flow — from system design to RTL coding to synthesis.
Phase 2: Automatic place and route (APR) and design rule checking (DRC). In this phase, students will acquire the back-end skills of the communication IC development flow — from APR to DRC.
The ECSIOT Lab focuses on the following research topics for baseband digital IC developement:
1.Communication Baseband Digital Circuit Development: FPGA
2. IoT Embedded System Development: LoRa, NB-IoT, 5G, Sub-1G, etc.
3. Digital Signal Processing: Signal processing for communication systems, biomedical signals, radar signals, and so on.
4. Next-Generation Wireless Communication Algorithm Development: Underwater optical communication, underwater acoustic communication, orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM), orthogonal chirp-division multiplexing (OCDM), non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), cooperative networks, visible light communication, orthogonal linear modulation multiplexing, communication sequence design for OFDM encryption, optical communication encryption, and so on.
