Welcome to my website!

I am an economist at the International Monetary Fund. I identify economic mechanisms in large-scale data with causal designs, extract economic signals from unstructured data with machine learning, and turn the results into advice that policymakers act on. My recent research focuses on AI, trade and global value chains, and industrial policy. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
