Welcome!

I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Queen’s University. My research interests are in the economics of education, health economics and examining the economics of rural development and urban transitions in China.

I am currently working on an empirical project that explores how education policies influence intra-household parenting investments across siblings as well as methodological papers that examine the use of polygenic scores in social science applications and ways to communicate how machine learning algorithms make decisions.
