After massacring every living thing that had once lived in the land, Lord Ducktilious drained the blood from all of their bodies and deposited it into a small pond, now known as the Pond of Mortem. The pond was his cauldron, where he'd mold the creatures he wanted to inhabit the now desolated land.
He formed plants, animals, and even new bacteria from the bloody pond. Most importantly, he reworked the human design, giving them an entirely different mind functionality; one that would encourage unity among themselves under their lord, rather than infighting. He also granted them the ability to eat any animal they wish besides ducks. If they were to dare eat a duck, they would have an infectious poison spread from their groin to the rest of their body, ending their lives through a gradual torturous pain.
The humans were kept in line and knew of their creator Lord Ducktilious. He watched as they began to form churches and cathedrals to worship him, with a hierarchy built within the religion. Not soon after, the land was colonized by the humans, now a nation. Regium was its name, Latin for royalty.
They established a government, with Kings and Queens, who were put under power with the Pope's consent, the leader of Duckism. This pleased Lord Ducktilious, but he feared the people would go unruly and forget about him. Lord Ducktilious decided to engrave something known as the five orders onto a large piece of eggshell left over from the reign of revenge.
Thou shall not worship a king or queen over the lord.
Thou shall not put all trust in the government.
Thou shall put trust in Duckism and the pope.
Thou shall protect, embrace, and take care of the land of Regium.
Thou shall convert all non-believers.
These orders would ring through the land of Regium, and set the standard for everyone to uphold. The pope of Duckism now leads the religion and Lord Ducktilious is still heard to this day.
