u/RedSmith305 constructed a banking system. This banking system was later implemented and tweaked under u/amazingIV23, who was the 2nd Dictator at the time.
u/amazingIV23 was the first dictator to get the position twice. It was later revealed that he rigged the two polls that put him into power and attempted to rig many more. He was punished severely.
u/Lemonstraps was the first dictator of the subreddit. Under his reign, he attempted to start a war with r/Lime. The attempt failed.
Under u/Lemonstraps' rule as dictator, he made the upvote symbol a lemon and the downvote symbol a lime.

On June 26th, 2020, something known as the Great Massacre occurred. About five people were shot by a group of assassins using a gun system that was implemented under a previous dictator.
u/amazingIV23 was given the first public execution when it was learned he had rigged multiple elections.
June 29th marked a major day in spending for the time. Using a banking system implemented under a previous Dictator, users spent and overall $6,481, with $5,216 of it being used on a lottery system.
u/themauryan created the House of Commons. In honor of him, it was given the nickname of The Mauryan House. This legislative system was later disbanded when it proved to be ineffective.
When r/WeeklyDictator was featured on r/TinySubredditOfTheDay, we saw a boom in members. This was then followed by a feature on r/SubredditOfTheDay, adding to the punch. This boom made u/quickquestion1096 become the first dictator to gain at least 1000 members during their rule.
When u/quickquestion1096 became dictator, he revealed he was secretly a courtinant, who used the unicratic party as a way to rise to the top. This sent a wave of controversy over the subreddit, eventually leading to a civil war.
u/RedSmith305 was the first dictator to get the position twice without cheating. He was almost unanimously well liked by the subreddit.
u/C-Jay_RandomDude got to be the dictator for a day after u/RedSmith305 resigned as the 7th dictator. He served as a place holder while we searched for a new one. He was universally liked and made the subreddit Spongebob themed under his reign.
u/squiderman200 was the first dictator to make it to two weeks within one reign.
u/joseph_snapple1 attempted to shoot u/squiderman200, the dictator, during their dictatorship.
Under u/squiderman200, their government shot a load of citizens. Some reports count up to 16 people, more than double the amount of deaths from the Great Massacre.
u/joseph_snapple1 was the first dictator to resign before three whole days of being dictator.
u/squiderman200 was given a public execution after he was overthrown by u/joseph_snapple1.
u/Alespic was given the honor of dictator when u/joseph_snapple1 resigned before his week was up. u/Alespic took on the task of completing Joseph's week and then later resigning to something know as the three days of peace.
The three days of peace took place after the 10th Dictator, u/Alespic, had resigned. These three days were to give new members a chance to become active and get involved. This began on the 81st day of the subreddit's existance.
Before becoming the dictator, u/Alespic was an extremely popular archivist. He had documented most of the history throughout our subreddit at the time.
Besides u/quickquestion1096, u/Alespic had gained the most amount of members during his reign out of the first 10 dictators. A whopping 146 new citizens.
