WeddExpense ("the App") is a personal wedding budget and expense tracking application. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Account information: your name and email address, collected when you sign up or sign in (including via Google Sign-In).
Wedding and financial data: the budget amounts, expense entries, categories, vendor names, and wedding details (such as wedding date and partner names) that you enter into the App.
Family/collaborator data: if you use the Invite Family feature, the App stores the connection between your account and any family members you invite, so you can share wedding data together.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or any data beyond what is described above.
Your information is used solely to provide the App's core functionality: tracking your wedding budget, displaying your expenses and reports, and enabling shared access for family members you choose to invite. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit (using HTTPS/TLS) between your device and our servers. Access to your wedding data is restricted at the database level so that only you, and any family members you explicitly invite, can view or edit it.
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:
Supabase — for data storage and user authentication.
Google Sign-In — as an optional way to create an account and sign in, subject to Google's own privacy policy.
[If applicable: Resend/Brevo or your chosen email provider — to deliver account-related emails such as password resets.]
These providers process data only as necessary to provide their service to us and do not have independent rights to use your data for their own purposes.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will delete your data within a reasonable time of receiving your request.
WeddExpense is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
