Web to CSV Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
Web to CSV reads the content and URL of the current webpage only after you click Detect Data. It identifies tables and repeated items so you can preview them, choose columns, and export a CSV file. Webpage content may include personal information depending on the page you choose.
Extracted data stays in the extension popup’s memory while it is open. The CSV file is downloaded locally to your device. Web to CSV does not send webpage content, extracted data, or CSV files to the publisher or any external server. It has no analytics, advertising, account, or cloud storage.
The activeTab permission provides temporary access to the current page. The scripting permission runs the extractor bundled with the extension after you click Detect Data.
Web to CSV uses webpage data only for the extraction and export features you request. It does not sell or share user data, use it for advertising or credit assessment, or use it for an unrelated purpose. Its use of Chrome API data follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
For questions, use the publisher contact shown on the Web to CSV Chrome Web Store listing.
