Pearly Mae Satterlee Shaw, 86, of Bolly, Oaklaohoma, passed away on January 29, 2025. Services are entrusted to Webb Undertaking.
Mother Dr. Pearly M. Satterlee-Shaw was born on April 6, 1939, in Bolly, Oklahoma, to Edsel Satterlee and Pearl Ann Moore.
At the age of ten, Evangelist Shaw accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, influenced by the strong holiness teachings of her parents within the Church of God in Christ.
She was united in holy matrimony to her beloved husband, the late Elder Dillard J. Shaw, with whom she shared a life of faith, service, and dedication to the work of the Lord. Together, they labored faithfully in ministry, leaving a legacy of commitment, holiness, and love for God’s people.
In 2026, Evangelist Shaw was appointed to serve as General Mother of the New Macedonia Church of God in Christ, a role in which she faithfully continues her lifelong dedication to ministry.
Evangelist Shaw is a devoted woman of prayer and unwavering faith, firmly grounded in her belief in Jesus Christ. Her teachings emphasize holiness, rooted not only in the Gospel of Jesus Christ but also in the foundational truths of the Holy Bible. With a rich legacy of sanctification passed down from her great-grandparents through her parents, she continues to uphold and live out the principles instilled in her by her mother to this day.
Throughout her life, Evangelist Shaw has labored faithfully in the vineyard of the Lord, preaching the Word of God with power, conviction, and compassion. Her ministry has touched countless lives through preaching, teaching, prayer, and spiritual counsel, encouraging believers to live sanctified and Christ-centered lives. Her unwavering commitment to sound doctrine, holiness, and service stands as a lasting testament to her calling and her enduring impact on the body of Christ.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thur, Feb 26, at 7:15 pm at Mack Temple COGIC. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, Feb 25, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Undertaking Company. Mother Shaw will lie in repose at the altar of Mack Temple for 30 minutes prior to the homegoing services.
