Kevin Dante Webb, 43, of Chicago, Illisnoes, passed away on January 31, 2025, during Sunday service. Services are entrusted to Webb Undertaking.

Pastor Kevin Dante Webb was born on January 19, 1984, to Deacon Demarcus Webb and the Late Brittney Holloway-Webb. Raised with a strong foundation in faith, service, and reverence for God, Pastor Webb’s life has been shaped by a deep commitment to the work of the Lord and obedience to His calling.

Pastor Webb began his service in ministry at Greater Union Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Ted Thomas, where he faithfully served as an usher for many years. Through this foundational role, he learned humility, discipline, and the importance of serving God’s people with excellence. After completing that season of service, he continued his ministry journey at Love Chapel Church of God in Christ, led by Bishop Dave Gatling, where he joined the praise team in 2000 and further developed his passion for worship.

His ministry calling continued to unfold at New Vision International Ministries under Pastor Chase Mack, where he served as a gospel musician. In 2003, Pastor Webb received his official calling into ministry and was appointed Executive Pastor, later being ordained as a minister. In 2007, he was entrusted with the role of Interim Pastor, faithfully leading the congregation until a permanent pastoral decision was made.

In 2010, Pastor Webb was ordained as an Elder by Bishop Joseph Garner. Throughout this season, he served diligently wherever he was needed, exemplifying the heart of a servant-leader. His life and ministry reflect the words of Scripture:

“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”

In 2018, Pastor Webb married Lady Mya L. Webb, who stands faithfully alongside him in life and ministry.

In obedience to God’s direction, Pastor Webb & The Late Elder Damien Reid founded Fellowship Chicago Church in 2021. Though the church experienced a temporary closure in 2023 due to financial challenges, Pastor Webb remained steadfast in faith, trusting God through every trial. In 2024, he founded The Grace Place International Ministries, which operated for eight months before closing due to instability. Remaining obedient to God’s leading, Pastor Webb reopened Fellowship Chicago Church in the summer of 2025, where it continues to serve and minister to the community today.

Pastor Kevin Dante Webb’s ministry was marked by perseverance, unwavering faith, and complete reliance on God’s purpose. His life reflects the truth of Scripture:

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Feb 7, at 7:30 pm at Union Grove M.B.C. Elder Webb will lie in repose at the altar of Mount Sinai for 30 minutes prior to the homegoing services, where the family will accept visitation.
