Julian McLoud, 34, of Clarkton, North Carolina, passed away on June 18, 2025. Services are entrusted to Webb Undertaking.
Julian Mcloud's life was a testament to faith and determination. Born on May 2, 1994, at Gates County Medical Center to Governor Timothy and Barbara Mcloud, Julian's journey was shaped by strong family values and a deep connection to his community.
As a student at Gates County High School, Julian discovered his passion for football. He poured his heart and soul into the sport, developing discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. These qualities would later serve him well in his pastoral journey.
After high school, Julian took his talents to the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), where he continued to play football and nurture his faith. His time at Ole Miss was transformative, laying the groundwork for his future ministry.
Following college, Julian embarked on his pastoral journey, driven by a sense of purpose and devotion. A couple of years later, he became the pastor of Beulah Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. With his compassionate leadership and inspiring sermons, Julian touched countless lives, spreading love, hope, and redemption.
As Julian's legacy continues to unfold, his impact on the community remains profound. His story serves as a reminder that with faith, hard work, and determination, one person can make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 19, at 7:20 pm at Shiloh M.B.C. Interment will follow at Clarkton Cemetery. A Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 18, at 5-:5:30 pm at the Undertaking Company. Rev. McLoud will lie in repose at the altar of Shiloh for 20 minutes prior to the homegoing services.
