Johnathan Leakes, 37, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on January 18, 2025. Services are entrusted to Webb Undertaking.

Jonathan Leakes, born on January 15, 1989, to Joe H. Leakes and Lucille Graves, was a beloved son, family member, and friend whose life touched many hearts.

Jonathan was known for his kindness, strength, and the way he made others feel seen and valued. He carried himself with quiet determination and a genuine care for the people around him. Whether through conversation, laughter, or simple presence, Jonathan left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He cherished his family deeply and held great respect for his parents, who shaped him with love, guidance, and support. Jonathan’s life reflected the values they instilled in him—loyalty, compassion, and perseverance.

Jonathan will be remembered not only for what he achieved, but for who he was: a person whose spirit brought warmth, whose words brought comfort, and whose memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 8:30 pm at New Mt Zion M.B.C. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be the night prior at 8:30 PM ET in the Undertaking Company. Mr Leakes will lie in repose at the altar of New Mt Zion for 30 minutes prior to the homegoing services.
