King Pawers, 87, of 508 Pine Hill Drive, Butner, North Carolina passed away on December 9, 2024. Services are entrusted to the Lumberton Management.
Deacon King powers departed from this life on a cold and wonderful glorious morning that the Lord have allowed the Saints to see one more time. He was a faithful and beloved Deacon he had it hard growing up. He was a slave. He worked extremely cotton in cotton field, his family didn’t have no money. He also worked at the post office. He stayed 10 blocks down from the post office. He was just a little boy 14 years old, living down in a country in North Carolina. He done the best he can to make heaven his home but later on the Lord elevated king to go higher and higher to run on to see what the end was gonna look like he faithfully joined the Shady Grove missionary Baptist Church he was also a member amount Hebron Tabernacle in his church and he was also a member of many churches he served the role of Deacon very well and we praise a lot for his wonderful and excellent life that he leaves. He also worked for TJ green funeral home up till his health declined on him he works several different places he worked at Kmart. He was a farmer. He was a postman. He was more anything that he could do to help his country out. He done the best later on in life and 68 king joined the coastal guard later he found the love of his life , mother Susan powers Mother Susan was a faithful and beloved wife in 1965. Susan departed from this life. She went home to live with the Lord and save it. Jesus Christ king Powers was the son of the late Deacon Johnny Lee pawers and Deaconness Lillie Mae Pawers He leaves all his wonderful and faithful memories to his son, his son brother Ricky of Greenville, South Carolina, two daughters out of Butler, North Carolina Lady Pluto and Kaiter Pluto. He had one brother his brother served in the military for many years, and his brother name was Gread Howard Who is the deceased praise the Lord for his wonderful and amazing experience that he had in life he leaves to share his memories to Reverend George Mincey. Deacon Arther blazer Deacon Crook Rev Eddie and Rev Benjamin wright. Deacon King Powers favorite hymn was father. I stretch my hands to the he loved to partake in the lords supper. Coummion was one of his favorite Sundays he love attending. Deacon King Powers will be missed, but his soul is now resting in the presence of an almighty savior Jesus Christ with all his loved ones. He loved dearly. Obey what the master told him to do he serve well and wonderful committees in the church, but most importantly he was faithful at the road Deacon.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 18, at 8:00 at the Mt Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, with Evang. Kewanna Thompson eulogizing. Interment will follow at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. A Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, from 6:30 to 7:00 at the Wright, Sanders, & Wynn Lumberton Estate. For 30 minutes, Brother Pawers will lie in repose at the altar of Mount Hebron Missionary Baptist Church before his homegoing celebration commences. Wright, Sanders, & Wynn Undertakers will be directing.
