Earl Gene Huffman, 78, of Greenville, North Carolina, passed away on July 7, 2025. Services are entrusted to Webb Undertaking.

 Earl Gene Huffman was born into the care of John Huffman and Lucille Simmons.

 Born on June 21, 1947, his childhood was full of joy and laughter. At an early age, Earl started playing Pop Warner football, which he continued until he was 11. Earl was also interested in playing baseball, but not for long; he was a standout athlete. 

After graduating from High School, He went into the US Army, where he served for 20 years before being medically retired. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Huffman and Lucille Simmons, his Wife, Laura Huffman,  and One Nephew, Edward Clement. 

He leaves behind memories to Many Nieces And Nephews, Special Niece Jan'ella Huffman, Special Nephew Nehemiah H. Huffman 

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 16, at 8:00 pm at Greater Gethsemane M.B.C. Interment will follow at Meadowview Memorial Park. A Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, at 8-:8:30 pm at the Undertaking Company. Mr. Muffman will lie in repose at the altar of Greater Gethsemane for 30 minutes prior to the homegoing services.
