I grew up in Garden City, KS. I attended Jennie Wilson Elementary (Go Cougars!), Kenneth Henderson Middle School, and Garden City High School. I then continued my education at Kansas State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. I began my career as a NASM certified personal trainer and fitness director. Eventually, I transitioned to physical education. In the fall of 2006, I started my teaching career at Kenneth Henderson Middle School. I coached for USD 457 for 9 years - including middle school girls' basketball, high school girls' basketball, and high school fast-pitch softball.
