StoreVN ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Weather Forecast mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
We designed the App to work without you creating an account or providing your name. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Location data
Approximate and precise location (only if you grant the permission): to show weather, air quality, and alerts for your current location and to update widgets and the weather notification.
Background location (only if you allow it): to keep current‑location notifications and widgets updated while the App runs in the background. The App works without it if you add your locations manually.
We do not use location at all if you only track manually added cities and do not grant the permission.
1.2 Locations you add
Cities you search and add are stored locally on your device to display their weather.
1.3 Usage and analytics data (Google Firebase Analytics)
Aggregated usage and device information such as device model, operating system version, language/region, app version, in‑app interactions, and app/advertising identifiers, used to understand how the App is used and to improve it.
1.4 Crash and diagnostic data (Google Firebase Crashlytics)
Crash reports and basic device/app diagnostics (such as stack traces, OS version, and app version) to detect and fix technical problems.
1.5 Advertising data (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads. AdMob and its partners may use your advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location, and ad‑interaction data to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent where required (see Section 6). Buying the premium (ad‑free) option removes ads.
1.6 Purchase information (Google Play Billing)
If you purchase the premium option, Google Play processes the payment. We do not receive or store your payment details; we only receive your purchase status to unlock premium features.
1.7 Settings and preferences
Your settings (units, theme, notification preferences, selected locations) are stored locally on your device.
Notifications are generated on your device. The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts. The only information you actively send us is anything you include when you email our support address.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
Provide weather forecasts, air quality, alerts, widgets, and on‑device notifications;
Show weather for your current location (if permitted) or for the cities you add;
Maintain, analyze, and improve the App and fix crashes;
Show and measure ads, and process your premium purchases;
Roll out and test features via Firebase Remote Config.
3. Sensitive Permissions
The App requests the following sensitive permissions only to provide features. You can grant or deny them, and change them later in your device settings. Other permissions used by the App are standard and non‑sensitive.

4. How Information Is Shared
We share information only as described here:
Google services used to run the App: Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Google AdMob, the Google User Messaging Platform (consent), and Google Play Billing.
Weather and air‑quality data providers. The App sends your location (coordinates or city) to third‑party providers to retrieve forecast and air‑quality data.
Advertising partners (through AdMob), as described in Section 1.5, subject to your consent where required.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information.

5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process data on these bases: consent (e.g., location access, personalized ads); performance of a contract (providing the App and your purchases); and legitimate interests (securing, maintaining, and improving the App, and serving non‑personalized ads).
6. Advertising and Your Consent Choices
In regions where it is required (such as the EEA and UK), the App shows a consent request via the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are served. You can change your choice later from the App's settings/consent option where available.
You can limit ad personalization at the device level: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (reset or delete advertising ID / opt out of personalization).
Purchasing the premium/ad‑free option removes ads.
7. Data Retention
On‑device data (added locations, settings, cached weather) remains until you delete it in‑app, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App.
Analytics and crash data are retained by Google for the periods set in our Firebase project configuration and Google's defaults.
We retain other data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) network connections, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is a general‑audience weather application and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You can:
Manage location and notification permissions in your device settings;
Manage ad personalization as described in Section 6;
Delete on‑device data by removing locations in‑app, clearing the App's storage, or uninstalling the App;
Request access or deletion of data associated with you by emailing smartappstudio.feedback@gmail.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country (including by Google). Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for such transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be made available within the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
