Wealth Architect is designed as a "Local-First" application. This means:
Financial Data: All financial information you enter, including assets, expenses, life events, and net worth calculations, is stored locally on your device only.
No Server Storage: We do not host, store, or have access to any of the data you input into the App.
No Personal Identity: We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use the core features of the App.
To provide certain features and monetization, the App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services include:
Google Play Services: Used for app functionality and updates.
Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID and other identifiers to provide personalized ads and for analytics purposes.
Google Play Billing: If you purchase the "Pro" version, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not see or store your credit card or payment information.
The App may request the following permissions:
Internet Access: Required to load advertisements and process In-App Purchases.
Storage Access: Required for the "PDF Export" and "Local Backup" features, allowing the App to save files to your device. The App access storage only to save the PDF reports and JSON backup files created by the user. We do not access your personal photos or files.
Notifications: Used to send you local reminders for data entry (if enabled by you).
Because your data is stored locally, its security depends on the security of your device. We recommend using device-level security (PIN, fingerprint) to protect your information.
The App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
Since all your data is stored on your device, you have full control over it. To delete all data associated with the App, you can simply:
Use the "Clear Data" option in the App settings.
Uninstall the App from your device.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
