WEAC Core Values
WEAC fully believes in and commits to following its five core values. WEAC recognizes their broad definition and representation:
Advocacy: Support or action that speaks in favor of, recommends, argues for a cause, supports or defends, or pleads on behalf of other.
Collaboration: A partnership; the act of producing or making something together. To collaborate is to commit to the possibility of producing an outcome greater than one that would be developed in a silo
Professionalism: Conducting oneself with responsibility, integrity, accountability, and excellence. It furthermore encompasses communicating effectively and appropriately and always finding a way to be productive.
Social Justice: The view that everyone deserves equal economic, political, and social rights and opportunities. Social Justice work aims to open the doors of access and opportunity for everyone.
Economic Security: The ability of people to consistently meet their financial needs. Pensions/retirement accounts and savings, earnings and employment, and health insurance coverage all play a role in the financial and economic security of Wisconsin public school educators.
