Timelessness is the melody of a song, a piece of art & the art of giving.
In celebrating, BTS members, Jungkook's (1st Sep), RM's (12th Sep) & Jimin's (13 Oct) birthdays, We Purple You team, together with our SG ARMYs and friends are working together to raise fund for ART:DIS (Arts & Disability Singapore).
BTS members' keen interest in arts are clearly displayed in their music, photography & music videos, taking inspirations from books & artworks. In fact, back in 2020, their love for arts was also displayed through 'BTS, Connect' - a global public art project which sparks the beginning of new communication between art, music and people.
As artists, BTS not only produce great music but through their work, they constantly make conscious effort in promoting a more inclusive society. From spreading the message of Love Yourself, to speaking out about mental health and supporting people of diversity. For their song 'Permission To Dance' they have included Korean & international sign language in their choreography as well. There are, of course, plenty of other examples and the list is exhaustive.
With this fundraising event, we would like to replicate BTS message of love & peace and we hope to encourage and empower these special artists, raise awareness for disabilities and help provide some financial support through ART:DIS.
