I wanted to write to you to express both my gratitude and how much the course meant to me. Thank you so much for organizing such a wonderful program, with informative speakers, fabulous mentors, and a truly amazing group of peers. I feel incredibly lucky not only to have learned everything I did the last six weeks (my notebook is completely full!), but to have met such an incredible group of people. These connections and new friends have genuinely changed my life.

[This course] was truly life-changing, and I could not be more excited to continue my journey in publishing armed with the knowledge I gained from the course. Every lecture brought something new and exciting to the table, and I loved learning from such a wide variety of people in the industry. I feel so lucky to have been a part of it, for the friends I now have, and the relationships I made with mentors and lecturers and staff alike.

Learning skills are skills that students use in every subject in school. By developing better thinking and learning skills your child will get a transferable set of skills that can be used in every subject, in every grade.

I got a great perspective on MIM/PAM and PIM/ PAM from an architecture, features and capabilities point of view. Learning privately together by Teams worked well and the Q&A/discussions gave us an opportunity to learn from each other as well. Excellent.

During the first half of the program, students journey by bus to multiple European cities. Each group consists of 55 students, 2 professors and 1 Group Leaders. Students take 2 courses during this portion of the program; they attend lectures and visit numerous sites that enhance and contribute to their courses. After spending 1 week studying in Atlanta and 5 weeks learning on the road, students complete their travel portion coursework and head for Oxford, England for the second portion of the program.

When learning English, whether you happen to be in an English speaking country or not, you want to use as many tools as you can to get towards your target. There are a myriad of apps out there that can help you learn as you go, all based on your level and your needs.

1. Duolingo: Possibly one of the most popular apps out there, Duolingo comes highly recommended for beginners. With just 20 minutes every day, you can learn English little by little by playing short games. Based on different topics, you can learn up to seven new words per topic and you gain skill points after completion of lessons.

5. Memrise: Slightly similar to another app called MindSnacks, the focus of Memrise is to learn English words, more than anything else. But its particularity is that it uses humour to help you memorise the words in question. Surely, if something is funny, you will be sure to remember it better. The Memrise courses are also created and designed by other users like yourself, which makes it a really friendly, true-to-form experience.

These friendly apps can be a great way to start learning English, or to brush up on your existing skills. They can also be a great addition to any other form of learning you are currently. If technology is not the best medium for you, do check out the exceptional English learning courses we offer at our English Language Schools here.

Through personal research, seminars, networking events and discussions with your peers, you will further your understanding of journalism, the news industry and your place in it. While you are in Oxford, you will work on a project that will be of direct impact to you, your career, your newsroom and the wider media industry, bringing in what you learn during your time in the fellowship. This is a programme for working journalists and editors who will return to journalism after spending a few months with us.

Our seminars and conferences.

Every week you will take part in regular seminars led by distinguished journalists, editors, industry leaders and academics from around the world. You will also get many chances to talk with your colleagues and learn about the challenges journalism is facing in their countries and what can be done to address them. You will also attend high-level conferences and talks put on by other academic and industry organisations. See some of our previous seminars and events.

Symposiums.

At the end of each term, Journalist Fellows put together a symposium with presentations and panel discussions around a particular theme. These discussions are based on what they have learned during their time in Oxford but also on professional experiences they are willing to share. These events are open to the public, often take place in London, and are great opportunities to raise your profile.

Our multidisciplinary team is involved in every aspect of design, production, and delivery of fully online courses.
