With the annual Winter Meetings this week for MLB, there will be a lot questions for these teams about Harper. Maybe this is the week something is leaked about where he’ll end up.

(12/9) In the midst of MLB’s yearly Winter meetings, and some huge names out there on the market, let’s take a look at some of the past huge trades at some past Winter meetings. In 2007, Miguel Cabrera was traded from the Marlins to the Detroit Tigers where he would eventually win a triple crown. In 2015, Arizona sent three players to the Braves, including Dansby Swanson and Ender Inciarte, who have been part of the Braves recent surge. Lastly, in 2016, the White Sox shipped Chris Sale, who is arguably the best pitcher in baseball, to the Boston Red Sox, for prospects.

halladay for hall of fame

(11/19) The Hall of Fame ballots were announced on Monday and among the 20 listed, the most notable name is Roy Halladay. Hallday, who passed away in a plane crash on November 7, 2017, is appearing on the ballots for the first time. Halladay won 2 Cy Young awards, one in the AL and one in the NL. He was runner-up twice, and placed in the top-five 3 other times. Halladay was one of the best pitchers in baseball and the stats in this article can back that up. Benintendi's catch

(10/18) An exciting game wouldn't be complete without a wild finish. Game 4 of the ALCS definitely did not disappoint in either of those two things. With two outs and the bases loaded, Astros Alex Bregman stepped up to the plate and hit a liner to left field that would've definitely ended up in the game being tied if it had not been caught by Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi. The catch resulted in the Game 4 win and puts the Red Sox just one win away from being in the World Series.

holt hits cycle

(10/13) Believe it or not, no one has ever hit for the cycle in the Major League Baseball Postseason…before Brock Holt earlier this week. Holt went 4 for 6 with three runs and five RBI’s in the midst of a 16-1 route of the New York Yankees. The Red Sox would go on to win Game 4 in Yankee stadium and advance to the ALCS, where they will play the Houston Astros.

Phillies season comes to a close

(9/30) After an up and down season, the Philadelphia Phillies season has finally come to a close. Finishing with an 80-82 record, and third in the NL East, this is the sixth straight losing season for the Phillies. After leading the NL East by 1.5 games on August 7th, the Phillies fell apart, going 16-33 since then. The Phillies look to build off of what worked this season and come back stronger next year.

sabathia misses out on $500k

(9/27) Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia was ejected from Wednesday's (9/26) game against the Rays for hiitting the batter with his pitch. Sabathia was only two innings shy of meeting his minimum of 155 innings, which would have given him a $500,000 bonus check. After a pitch nearly grazed his teammate, Sabathia retaliated with an inside pitch of his own, but ended up hitting Rays catcher Jesus Sucre.
