Ben was Number Six, The Horror. His ability is creating a portal on his own body that connects to another dimension, one filled with eldritch creatures.

He was only 17 when during a mission, the portal turned on him. The light called to him but the real world had so much left. And with his brother Klaus' ability to commune with the dead, he stayed behind and followed him instead.
